Hi again. Some of this might be a repeat, but I wanted to re-introduce myself. My name's Jayden Leigh Miller. I was born August 18, 1987 in Pickerington, Ohio. That is right outside of Columbus, Oh. I was named after my grandparents -- my mom's mom is named Jane and my dad's dad is named Aiden. They just jumbled them together and named me Jayden. It works for me. Anyway, my parents, Jim and Cindy, are seriously the best. They work so hard at what they do -- my dad is a high school football coach and my mom is a guidance counselor. I have two older brothers -- Cole and Ryan. Cole played football for WVU and is now helping coach as a graduate assistant there. Ryan plays football for Akron here in Ohio. Because of the ridiculous presence of football in my family, I am, of course, in love with it. I absolutely love everything about football, well sports in general. I love the excitement and passion that is always there. I love watching other people's dreams come true. Because of Cole, I got into college football and am in love with WVU. Also, my parents met at WVU. So I've always had a strong connection there...now if only we could get that offense going this year. Since my dad taught me everthing I know about football, I love the teams he loves. I learned everything while watching the Browns when I was really young. Now, I am a die hard Cleveland fan!
So, like I said before, I love watching people's dreams come true. Because of this, I now work at Disney World! I better back up, when I was younger, I loved to dress up and perform for my family. I was always loud and energetic and wanted to play different characters. I never knew where to put this energy, because acting wasn't truly working for me. I wanted some personal interaction, too. And most actors are divas--not for me. Anyway, so when I went to college, I didn't know what to do. In high school I volunteered at our local safety organization -- it's call safety town. We taught little 4 and 5 year olds how to be safe in this scary, scary world. Anyway, I loved this, so I thought I'd major in Elementary Ed when I got to school. I went to OSU, stayed close to home and my family, and started my degree. Last year, during the spring semester of my junior year, I found out about this internship called the Disney College Program. I went down to Disney for a semester and worked in the parks! It was the most amazing experience of my life. While I was there, I auditioned for a character performer and landed the role of Cinerella throughout the parks and resorts. Here, I realized I finally found my calling. I was working with little kids, performing and interacting with others, and making dreams come true every single day. Because we all know, Disney is the most magical place on Earth!
Without the approval of my family, I loved it so much I decided to stay there. I decided not to finish my degree (I would have hated it anyway) and stay and work here for now. Maybe later I'll enroll at the UNiversity of Central Florida and get a degree, but for now, I'm happy. However, my family is not quite as excited for me. Hopefully, sooner, rather than later, they'll come to terms with my decision and be proud that I've found something I love to do.
That's all for now -- but here's some links for more information on me! =)
